The recently released Games I’m glad were never made… (poster) that I created has a lot of updated artwork on it. I mentioned on Dueling Analogs that I intended to show some of that before and after artwork. So I decided to post one of the updates here on pierski.com.

This image is from the the parody game Shrek’s Donkey Punch that originally appeared in this comic. While I felt the original image worked fine for the web, the print version needed to look a lot better. So I took the vectors, pulled it into Photoshop and recolored it. I was very pleased with the results.

This is the first sample of me working on the new Konami Code poster. The first image is the left most apostle from the original Last Supper painting by Leonardo da Vinci. The next image is the same apostle from the Dueling Analogs Konami Code comic. And lastly, the far right image is the same apostle from the poster version I am currently working on.

Hopefully, you can tell from the images that I’m updating the style a little and having some fun in the process. Not going for anything close to exact. Just going for similar and fun. Also, the last image is far from done. The hair is still very chaotic and there’s a lot of color shades still missing on the face.

Just wanted to let you guys see where I am currently at. I’ll add a new posting when the first apostle is at least 95% done.
